Brandi Glanville is shedding new light on her prolonged and painful health journey after doctors recently identified a benign tumor in one of her facial lymph nodes.
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, now 53, has openly shared details about the medical ordeal that began in 2023 and has involved visible swelling, facial paralysis, and persistent lumps.
In a June 18 episode of her podcast “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered,” she revealed that the discovery of the benign tumor could help explain the extreme swelling and fluid accumulation she has experienced for years.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me, guys. I thought I was fixed, and then it happened again and now it’s sinking in again,” Glanville said during another recent podcast. “It could be why the fluid is going around my face and why I’m having a hard time.”

Her health issues first became public in 2023, when she shared her belief that a parasitic infection contracted in Morocco might have triggered the inflammation. She said at the time that she could feel the parasite moving inside her face, an experience that left her frightened and seeking answers.
Medical specialists later diagnosed Glanville with stress-induced angioedema, a condition involving sudden swelling of the deeper skin layers and mucous membranes. According to Mayo Clinic, angioedema can occur alongside hives or appear independently.
Despite receiving that diagnosis, Glanville continued to face unexplained symptoms. She said she had visited dozens of doctors and spent more than $100,000 trying to determine the cause of her worsening condition.

The new benign tumor finding has brought cautious optimism, though questions remain about precisely what kind of tumor it is. Glanville has not publicly disclosed further medical details about the specific type involved.
While some benign facial tumors can originate in fat, blood vessels, salivary glands, or lymphatic tissue, Glanville emphasized that her doctors confirmed it is “not cancerous.”
Beyond the tumor, she has also wondered whether her ruptured breast implants might have contributed to her ongoing health complications, suggesting that leaked silicone could have clogged her lymph nodes.
Earlier in 2024, Glanville also shared images of painful facial burns on TikTok after a reaction to a Nair hair removal product, further demonstrating how physically painful the past few years have been.
Throughout the ordeal, she has expressed emotional exhaustion but remained determined to find clarity about her health, telling listeners that she hopes the latest medical development will finally provide answers.
