Hilaria Baldwin is finding ways to prioritize fitness while raising seven children, even when a gym or dedicated workout space is not available. Baldwin, 42, told Fox News Digital that some of her exercise sessions happen in the bathroom.

Running remains a consistent part of her routine, particularly because of how she says it affects her mind. "I run every day… I found being a mom, if I can get 30 minutes of my cardio, it helps my mind... It gets me like sort of a little bit more regulated with my nervous system, so I really like that," she said.

Baldwin also practices yoga and fits in brief bathroom workouts or quick exercise sessions whenever she can. She said she loves Physique 57 and considers barre classes a strong option for her routine.

Fans recently received a closer look at what one of those bathroom sessions can involve. Last month, Baldwin wore a bikini while demonstrating glute exercises in a bathroom, including squats and leg raises.

Although fitness is a priority, Baldwin said her meals do not follow the same pattern every day. She also pushed back on the idea that she eats nothing but salad.

"It's not always the same," Baldwin said when Fox News Digital asked about a typical day of meals. She acknowledged eating salad frequently in the past, but recalled opening two different pints of ice cream with the baby of the family at 9 PM on another night.

Her approach, she explained, leaves space for both nutritious choices and occasional treats. "Eat good things and then enjoy. Have the slice of pizza once in a while. Have the ice cream. I think it’s just a bit of a balance."

Her husband, Alec Baldwin, apparently does not share every part of her fitness routine. When asked whether he ever participates in her workouts, Hilaria laughed and described him as particularly inflexible.

"Can’t touch his toes. I literally married the most inflexible person I have ever met," she said. The couple have been together for more than 15 years after meeting in February 2011.

Along with discussing fitness and food, Hilaria addressed the relationship advice she gives friends who are beginning a romance or experiencing difficulty. "You both have to want to be there," she told Fox News Digital.

She said that commitment matters during both difficult and positive periods in a relationship. Her advice to friends is that a relationship will probably not work if both people do not genuinely want to remain through those moments.

Hilaria said that mutual desire has supported her relationship with Alec through years of changes and public scrutiny. "Both Alec and I, through our ups and our downs and our sideways, we’ve wanted to be there. And I think that that’s what’s kept us strong."

Her comments come as she appears on the FOX celebrity competition series "Nation's Dumbest." The program reverses the familiar competition format because its contestants are trying to avoid being crowned the dumbest rather than prove they are the smartest.

The cast also includes Carmen Electra, Anthony Michael Hall, Ice T, Elle King, Matt Leinart, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Steve O, JoJo Siwa, Andrew Yang, Jon Heder and Chase Hudson. Hilaria previously competed on "Dancing with the Stars."

At home, Hilaria and Alec share seven children. Their daughters are Carmen, María and Ilaria, while their sons are Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo and Eduardo.

Alec is also the father of Ireland Baldwin, his daughter with former wife Kim Basinger. Ireland welcomed her daughter Holland in 2023, making Alec a grandfather for the first time.
