Jessie James Decker is entering what she calls her “natural girl era,” with plans to reduce the size of her breast implants. The singer said her evolving relationship with fitness, confidence and motherhood helped shape the decision.

Decker, 38, revealed in an Instagram video Friday that she had set a date to take out her “very large breast implants.” She explained that she wants to feel more like herself as she continues strengthening her body.

Her announcement accompanied a video in which she performed a handstand and displayed her toned physique. Decker connected the decision to the fitness work she has shared with followers and members of her @jjdfitclub.

“I’ve been on such a fitness journey with yall and my @jjdfitclub getting stronger and more confident than ever. I’m not stopping and I don’t want anything holding me back,” she wrote.

Decker said that gaining strength has also changed how she views the implants. “This strong girl Era has really helped me feel more connected to my body and what feels right for me,” she continued. “I just don’t feel like these big implants fit who I am anymore.”

The mother of four also linked the shift to the birth of Denver, her youngest daughter, who is 2. That experience, she said, helped begin a chapter in which she increasingly believes that less is more.

“I want less maintenance in my life and I’m embracing my natural girl era!” Decker explained. “Maybe it’s getting closer to 40, but I’ve reached this place where I want to feel the most like myself.”

Having a daughter has added another consideration to Decker’s decision. She said she does not want Denver growing up believing extensive upkeep is necessary to feel attractive.

“Having a daughter has made me think about it even more. I never want her to feel like she has to do all this upkeep to feel beautiful,” Decker added.

For now, Decker plans to reduce the implants rather than remove them permanently. She said complete removal remains her ultimate goal, although she acknowledged that she may not be ready to take that step yet.

“But I know myself, and realistically I’m not sure I’m totally ready for that yet,” she admitted. “I’ve had such large ones for so long I don’t know what I have underneath it all.”

Decker added humor to the announcement by describing the size she currently has in mind. “What I think I’m ready for is what they’re calling juicy ballerina boobies!?” she joked.

The “Should Have Known Better” singer has previously discussed her cosmetic surgery with fans. In May 2021, she showed her breast implants while wearing a blue bikini in an Instagram post and expressed enthusiasm about the results.

“They were so big and perky before children and I wanted them back … plus some. I feel great; I’m super happy with them and felt like a brand-new woman,” she wrote at the time.

By July 2024, however, Decker was publicly considering a reduction of what she called her “Playboy melons.” She said she was not rushing into surgery, but expected that she would eventually want to downsize and might later decide to remove the implants.

Decker shares four children with her husband, former NFL athlete Eric Decker. Their children are Vivianne, 12, Eric Jr., 10, Forrest, 8, and Denver.

Eric underwent a vasectomy in 2024, but Decker recently joked with him about wanting a fifth baby. In a video she posted earlier this month, the suggestion prompted him to flee.
