President Donald Trump is again highlighting his cognitive test results as he nears his 80th birthday, using new health reports to defend his mental fitness and challenge his political rivals to do the same.

In an overnight post on Truth Social, Trump said that “all people running for President and Vice President should be forced to take high difficulty Cognitive Tests.”

He called on “Congress, and the Dumocrats,” to demand such exams.

Trump, who turns 80 on June 14, shared that his latest physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center showed “extremely good” results.

He said he scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a result he claimed indicates “extreme intelligence.”

The physician to the president, Capt. Sean P. Barbabella, released a memorandum detailing the examination, which took place on May 26.

The report included diagnostic studies, laboratory testing, and consultations with 22 specialty providers, summarizing that Trump “remains in excellent health.”

Barbabella wrote that Trump’s cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical performance were “strong” and described the president as “fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.” The memo noted that screenings for depression and anxiety were normal.

The results showed his fasting glucose at 83.2, total cholesterol at 143, and LDL cholesterol at 53, all within normal ranges.

His HDL cholesterol was reported at 70 and triglycerides at 104. Laboratory findings for kidney, liver, thyroid, and cardiac markers were listed as normal.

Trump’s current medications include rosuvastatin and ezetimibe for cholesterol management, as well as aspirin for cardiovascular prevention.

The report observed minor lower leg swelling, which had improved since the previous year, and bruising on the backs of his hands attributed to frequent handshaking while on aspirin.

The memo stated that his neurological exam displayed normal mental status, motor strength, reflexes, sensation, and balance. Trump reportedly completed his fourth Montreal Cognitive Assessment, having now received a perfect score each time.

“In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or, 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked!” Trump wrote, adding that such scores are “very rare.”

Following the release of his exam results, Trump again contrasted his record with that of former President Joe Biden, who left office at 82 and was previously the oldest president in U.S. history.

Trump said that “unlike other U.S. Presidents,” he has taken a high difficulty cognitive test.

Barbabella’s memo emphasized the president’s demanding daily routine, which includes “multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity,” describing these as supportive of his “overall well-being.”

Trump’s latest remarks follow a series of statements dismissing questions about his age and mental sharpness.

He has frequently emphasized his health records at campaign events and in interviews to counter political criticism.

The White House said Trump’s physical and cognitive results confirm that he remains in “excellent overall health.”

The announcement came as he renewed public calls for all future presidential and vice-presidential candidates to undergo similar testing.

Trump concluded his Truth Social message by writing that cognitive tests should be a required part of the election process, framing such assessments as a sign of strength and accountability.

The post and accompanying health report immediately reignited debate about age and fitness for office, an issue that has shadowed recent campaigns on both sides of the political aisle.

While the latest medical exam portrays a president in strong condition, Trump continues to use his performance as a political statement as well as a personal defense against critics questioning his capabilities.

As the presidential calendar moves closer to the next election cycle, Trump appears intent on turning his health records into both a campaign talking point and a challenge to his opponents’ transparency.
